Separate and sealed proposals will be received by the Bradford City Water Authority, at the Authority office, 28 Kennedy Street, Bradford, PA 16701, until 11:00 a.m., prevailing time, on Tuesday, April 21, 2020, and opened and read immediately thereafter for the following project: VALVE REPLACEMENT PROJECT - 2020 CONTRACT NUMBER 20-2 Bidding Documents will be made available, via email only, and at no charge by contacting Bankson Engineers, Inc., at csimoni@banksonengineers.com. The Bid Proposal must be a paper copy, with an original signature, submitted in an envelope along with the original bid security, all as described in Section B – Information for Bidders. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, or bidder’s bond in favor of the Bradford City Water Authority in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the proposal. This Contract is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Workers must be paid not less than the minimum wages established by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, as shown in the applicable schedule. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the same has been filed with the Bradford City Water Authority.
